IELTS ACADEMIC WRITING TASK 1 MAP Proposed Super Market

The Map below is of the town of Bradley. A new supermarket (S) is planned for the town. The Map shows two possible sites for the super market. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

The map presented in figure proposes 2 alternative locations for prospective super market to be built for Bradley

The proposed site S1 is located on the northwest outskirts of Bradley. It lies between the main road leading to Bristol (which is just 10 kilometers away), and the railway corridor. As this location is away from the crowded city center, it is expected to have an ample space for car parking.

Location outside Bradley could be convenient for shoppers hailing from Bradley and Bristol. People residing in Markete and Delia, and intending to do shopping in this area could use rail network to reach this location more conveniently.

The site proposal S2 is situated in city center of Bradley. This area is well connected, and people from Bradley Bristol, Delia and Markete can easily arrive here, to do the shopping. But, being a city center, this location is closed to traffic.

In conclusion, both the sites have their pros and cons, but site S1 seems to be more convenient for supermarket.
