The given graphs explain the time spent per week, by women
in different age groups and with disparate education levels, on different
activities: work, leisure and sports, and household chores.
Quite strikingly, women spend between 35 hours and 52 hours
- which is highest among all activities. The ratio of time spent on this
activity increases with age, with individuals aged 75 and over spending most
though hours spent on leisure tend to decline between 20 and 44 years.
Women aged between 25-54 with higher education use a lot of
their time at their work, while spending
lesser time on leisure, however, in women younger age groups below 25 years spend do vice-versa.
Engagement in household shores tend to increase with the age
- females 16 and 19 spending, and as women graduate to higher levels of
education - more than 27 hours, but declines in older age groups with women 75
years and over spending least time on this activity.
