The given table depicts the proportion of Australian population under poverty. It also compares the proportion of household types spending their lives under extreme poor conditions.

Of the gross population of inhabitants spending their lives in poor financial conditions, around 6%, or  54000 single old people do not have enough resources. Similarly, the ratio of people living in alone without children was 19% or rather 359000 and the proportion of single parents was 232000 that meant 21% of proportions in the category.

However, the proportion of poor people living as couples was relatively lower than the people living single. The proportion of old couples under the poverty line was 4%, or 48,000. Similarly, the proportion of childless couples spending their lives in poor condition was 7%, i.e. 211,000. The ratio of families with children facing scarcity of basic resources like money, i.e. couples having children was 12%, or rather 933,000.
