students who did not join full time employment after completion of their
studies in 2008. The graphs highlight comparable figures of the graduate and
post graduate students.
The figures and the chart clearly indicate that more of both
graduates and post graduates had an inclination to go for higher studies, 29665
graduates and 2725 post graduates taking up advanced courses.
Almost a similar number of post graduates,2535 took, up
part-time jobs, while it is observed
that graduates were not as keen to take up part time employment, only 17735
went to such work.
The third most popular destination of the students who did
not take up regular jobs after completion of their studies was remaining
jobless, 16235 graduates, and 1625 post graduates, chose not to take up jobs.
Volunteer jobs attracted least number of graduates,3500 and
post graduates, 345.
To sum up, the trend of choosing venues by unemployed graduates
and post graduates was similar.
