Ielts Academic Writing task 1 - Glass Recycling 

The given diagram elucidates the recycling process of glass bottles from collection to final use.

On an overall, the process is carried out in eight steps, in which the glass bottles are reproduced for use again.

The process starts with collection of used glass bottles. This step is followed purification carried out manually, to separate glass from any impurities. Once the any additional material accompanying the bottles   has been  removed, the bottles subjected a fining process, after which these bottles are ground into fine pieces.

After this, yet another purification process is executed with the help of optoelectronic system, to remove any fine rubble and impurities; this step uses magnets and cameras.

The next step involves melting the cullet of glass at high temperatures. This step is followed by forming process, in which glass bottles are formed in various shapes and sizes, as per requirements.

The end product, bottles of different shapes and capacity are ready to be used for various purposes.
