Overall, the patterns of employment among full time men and women workers are different, where number males working full-time declined between 1973 and 1993, more women found employment in such jobs. But, in the case of part time work, employment fell both in men and women in the given period. .
Full-time employment among males declined in the 20 year period though there was hardly any noticeable change in age-wise employment figures. Most men between 25-59 worked full time, whereas, employment among women in such jobs increased though age based fluctuation continued as it is - most women aged between 19 and 25 found jobs in such arrangement. .
