Ielts Wrting Task 1 - Sale of lunch and dinner

The given table depicts the sales registered at lunch and dinner at  a small restaurant in the downtown business district between October 7 to 13, 2007.

The trends for order place for lunch clearly indicate that more and more people tended to have lunch at the restaurant in the middle of the week, on the Wednesday.

The sales on the rest of weekdays hovered between $2375 on Thursday and $2500 on Friday, and dropped below $2500 on weekends, with Sunday registering only $1550.

However, lesser and lesser number of people opted for dinner at the restaurant in the middle of the week. The sales rose as the week advanced with Friday registering the highest sales.

The sale of dinner witnessed similar trend to that of lunch, with Saturday and Sundays registering lowest sales $1900 and $1450 respectively.

To conclude, more and more people tended to have lunch as the mid of the week approached and highest number of people dined out as the weekend approached.
